1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Tectaflow (tectaflow.com), operated by Tectalabs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Tectaflow is a web-based multi-discipline engineering platform providing calculation tools, simulation engines, drawing editors, and AI-powered design assistance across Process, Electrical, Structural, Piping, and Safety engineering disciplines.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• One person per account — shared accounts are not permitted

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code
• Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or access controls
• Share your account with others or resell access
• Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the platform
• Use automated tools to scrape data or overload the service

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all engineering data (calculations, simulations, drawings, documents) you create on Tectaflow. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

6. Engineering Disclaimer

Tectaflow is a calculation and simulation tool, not a substitute for professional engineering judgment. All results should be independently verified by a qualified licensed engineer before use in any design, construction, or operational decision. Tectaflow does not provide professional engineering services and is not liable for engineering decisions made based on its outputs.

7. AI Features

AI-generated outputs (Design Agent, EngAI chat, suggestions) are provided as engineering assistance, not professional advice. AI results are labeled as "Verified" (derived from tool calculations) or "Unverified" (AI interpretation). You are responsible for reviewing and validating all AI outputs before use.

8. Billing & Subscriptions

• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance
• AI query overages are billed at the end of each billing cycle
• You may cancel your subscription at any time — access continues until the end of the current billing period
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of payment
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to active subscribers

9. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance. Enterprise plans include SLA commitments as specified in the plan details.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tectalabs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of Tectaflow. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days. After 30 days, your data may be permanently deleted.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
